Core components of an iPaaS solution

Management and monitoring based on web applications. As with other cloud apps, an iPaaS can be accessed online using an Internet connection to easily configure integration processes.

An iPaaS solution will by default include connectors to the main market apps across multiple categories like marketing, ERP, etc. In addition to the most common database connectors (SQL, MySQL, ORACLE) it will also provide text files and protocols like OData and ODBC. An iPaaS platform is designed to be able to adapt to new connection needs between apps, which is why the connector library will be open.

This is probably the most important part of the iPaaS platform. It implements dedicated tools to transform the data mined from one app to integrate it in others. This means you can standardize the methodology to convert data schemes from a publishing app into those of a subscribing or information recipient app enabling the integration of the solutions.
